Our ceremonial cacao is made from a single ingredient, the finest criollo organic cacao, harvested by farmers in the Peruvian Amazon.

Hand crafted in small batches in our artisan Lincolnshire chocolate factory, our ceremonial grade cacao has been minimally processed to create a chunk of exquisite cacao for you to eat or make into a warm cup of liquid cacao.  

 

How to enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao:

Add hot water to taste in a lightly warmed cup, along with a chunk of our ceremonial cacao. We do not recommend adding boiling water as this can reduce the efficacy of the cacao's medicinal properties. Some studies have also show that dairy products block the absorption of antioxidants and calcium in cacao, so we would suggest not to use cow's milk. For sweetness you may consider adding a cinnamon stick, cloves or cane sugar.
